Defensive Player of the Year
Domonique Davis II capped one of the most dominant defensive seasons in Central State history in 2025. A Top 24 Harlon Hill honoree and one of only three defensive players on the list. He posted 113 tackles, 16.5 TFL, five sacks, four INTs and two fumble recoveries. He turned three of his six takeaways into touchdowns and added blocked kick. He also became the first NCAA Division II player invited to the Allstate HBCU Legacy Bowl and earned a spot on the Boxtorow HBCU All-America Team. He earned SIAC Defensive Player of the Year honors. Â
