Marauders fall in final seconds to LeMoyne-Owen, 75-74
MEMPHIS, Tennessee – The Central State Marauders lost 75-74 on a three-pointer in the final seconds of Wednesday's game at LeMoyne-Owen.

The loss drops CSU to 5-17 overall and 5-12 in SIAC play. LOC improves to 17-7 on the season and 13-5 in the conference.

The Marauders jumped out to an early seven point lead and took a 38-34 lead into intermission. CSU maintained a slim lead for the majority of the fourth quarter. With CSU leading 73-69 with 15 seconds remaining in the game, LOC's Micah Evans hit from three-point range to narrow the deficit down to one. After CSU split a pair of free throws at the other end, Evans came down the floor and converted again from beyond the arc to give LOC its first lead in the second half and the win.

LOC's Gjerard Wilson led all scorers with 18 points. Evans finished with 13 points.

Marcus Steele led CSU with 14 points, five assists and five rebounds.
Marcus Scott V and
Willie Jackson recorded 12 points each.

Central State will travel to Kentucky State on Saturday.
