Despite a strong effort in the second half, the Marauders fell to the Malone Pioneers 80-73.  Malone stretched the lead to as many as 17 points in the second half.  With the help of Willie Jackson, CSU was able to chip the lead down to 5 points with 3 minutes left to play but were unable to get any closer.  Willie Jackson paced the Marauders with 26 points, Steven Key (11 points) and Raevon Thomas (10 points) both chipped in with double figures.  With the win the Malone Pioneers moved to 4-0 on the season while the Marauders fell to 0-4.  

The Marauders will look to pick up their first win of the season when they return to action Tuesday at 7:30 pm vs Carolina Christian College.
