The Central State Marauders earned their first win of the season in dominant fashion over Carolina Christian College 118-62.  The Marauders used their size advantage to overmatch the Centurions in the paint, outcoring them in that area 74-26.  The Marauders team effort was paced by Zavian Jackson's 24 points on 11-14 shooting, including a thunderous dunk at the buzzer in the fist half.  Five other Marauders scored in double figures, Antowoin Reed Jr. (19), Joshua Scretchen (16). Sean Paige (16), Steven Key II (15) and Raevon Thomas (12).  For Carolina Christian Khariq Grogins led the way with 16 points.  The Marauders hope to keep this momentum going as they head to Jacksonville and Savannah this weekend to open up SIAC play vs Edward Waters and Savannah State.
