Marauders open conference play with wins over Fort Valley State and Morehouse
ATLANTA, Georgia - The Central State men's volleyball team has opened up SIAC play with road wins over Fort Valley State and Morehouse over the weekend.
Against FVSU on Friday, CSU came back from down two sets to win, 3-2.
After losing the first set, 25-22, and the second set, 26-24,. CSU battled for a 25-23 win in the third set and a 25-19 win in the fourth. In the deciding set, CSU was in control on their way to a 15-10 win.

Carlos Pinto led all players with a season-high 19 kills. Jayden Rookuyzen added 11 kills. CSU setter
Marcus Franck 36 assists along with 10 digs.
CSU continued its momentum into Saturday's match at Morehouse. CSU was dominant throughout the afternoon and won in three sets with scores of 25-5, 25-10, and 25-11.
In the 3-0 win, CSU finished with season-highs in service aces (24) and hitting percentage (.345) while committing a season-low in attacking errors (11).
Cameron Lee led CSU's offensive attack with nine kills. Franck finished with 21 assists and 10 services aces.
With the wins over FVSU and MHC, CSU is now 3-10 overall. CSU continues SIAC play at home against Benedict next Friday.
