This Week's Notes

CSU is coming off a 19-7 road win over Lincoln - the first victory under new CSU head coach Bobby Rome II.

Senior linebacker Kailen Abrams was named SIAC Defensive Player of the Week on Tuesday. Abrams had nine tackles, a forced fumble, two sacks and a fumble recovery last week.

Jamal Holloway, who transfered from UNLV, was named SIAC Newcomer of the Week on Tuesday. Holloway led all players with 13 tackles along with two sacks, two forced fumbles and a pass break up last Saturday.

Central State will attempt to go 2-0 against CIAA opponents on Saturday.
