After receiving treatment from the training staff, Monford returned to action in the second half, scoring five straight points and helping his team pull even with SHC, 51-51, with 13:50 to play. Led by the play of Justin Allison, SHC took control of the game with the 19-2 run. Allison scored 10 points during SHC's offensive onslaught. The Marauders managed to chip the deficit down to eight as a Tom Johnson layin cut the SHC lead down, 72-64, with 6:57 to go. Allison knocked down a three-pointer on SHC's next possession and the Marauders never recovered. SHC's lead ballooned to as many as 19 and the Badgers coasted to the 18-point win.
