Tom Johnson recorded a triple-double to lead Central State to a 94-75 win over Goshen on Saturday.

With the win, CSU improves to 3-2 overall while GC falls to 3-6 on the year.

CSU jumped out to a double-digit lead as a fastbreak basket by
Darweshi Hunter gave the Marauders a 23-13 advantage at the 11:11 mark of the opening half. Playing in his first game of the season, forward
Dreon Lewis scored back-to-back baskets in the paint to help CSU extend the lead to 15 with 4:14 to go before halftime. Goshen stormed back as Tahj Curry scored 12 points in the final four minutes to spark a 19-4 run to knot the game, 40-40, at half.

Goshen took its first lead at the 17:59 mark of the second half with an Austin Branagan three-pointer. CSU regained its form and seized momentum back with a 21-5 run. A basket by Lewis put the Marauders up 65-50 with 11:45 to go and they never looked back. CSU led by as many as 24 and cruised to the victory on their home court.

The Marauders outscored GC in the paint, 60-22. CSU also held a 26-8 edge in points scored off turnovers. CSU converted 39 of 71 field goal attempts (54.9%) compared to GC's 25-62 shooting performance (40.3%).

Johnson's triple double included 10 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists. Hunter led CSU scorers with a season-high 25 points. Qunton Glaspie finished with 18 points and five rebounds. Lewis added 11 points and seven rebounds while
Theo Howard scored 10 points.

Curry led Goshen with 25 points, six rebounds and five assists.
