WILBERFORCE, Ohio – The Central State Marauders relied on the second half scoring of guard Orion Monford in a 69-63 win over Lane College on Monday.

Glaspie scored again at the 12:02 mark to put CSU up eight, 41-33. CSU successfully closed out the game by leaning on the hot hand of Monford. Monford knocked down four straight shots, including three from three-point range to help keep CSU ahead, 60-55, with 2:45 to play. Lane missed on its next three shot attempts and Monford added two free throws to extend the lead to seven with 45 seconds left. While Lane managed to convert on two late three-pointers, free throws from Randall Clarkson, Jr., Reeves, Tom Johnson and Monford helped CSU seal the victory.
