Central State loses to Tuskegee, 78-65
TUSKEGEE, Alabama – The Central State Marauders came up short in Monday's 63-58 loss to Shawnee State.

The loss drops CSU to a record of 2-15 overall with a 1-9 mark in SIAC play. TU improves to 11-5 on the year with a 7-1 mark in the SIAC.
Tuskegee took momentum early with a 9-0 run to go up 17-9. The Marauders battled back to cut the deficit down to three after an Oliver Martin jumper but TU put together a 7-2 run and eventually took a 40-31 lead at the break.

CSU remained in contention throughout the first 10 minutes of the second half. Down 58-54 with 9:49 to go, CSU surrendered a 19-3 run. Extending its lead to as many as 19, TU was able to cruise to its eighth straight victory.

TU shooters combined to make 60% of their shot attempts while CSU converted 48% from the field.

Miles Thomas led TU with a game-high 24 points. Riley Hamilton added 16 points in the win.

CSU finished with four players reaching double-figures in scoring. Oliver and
Quinton Glaspie each had 15 points.
Tom Johnson scored 13 points and
Orion Monford added 12 points.

The Marauders will travel to West Virginia to play Salem on Thursday.
