Marauders fall short to LeMoyne-Owen, 69-61
 
MEMPHIS, Tennessee – The Central State Marauders dropped their fourth straight game, losing to LeMoyne-Owen, 69-61.
 
With the loss, Central State now stands at 1-7 overall with an 0-4 ledger in the SIAC. LeMoyne-Owens improves to 6-2 on the season with a perfect 3-0 mark in the conference.
 
The Marauders converted a respectable 50% of their field goals but 19 turnovers plagued CSU throughout the game. CSU also struggled at the free throw line making just 10 of 20 attempts.
 
Dwight Richards, Jr. led the CSU offense with 23 points while Tom Johnson scored a season-high 18 points along with seven assists and five steals.
 
LOC was paced by Devin Booker's 18 points. Tory Mason came off the bench to contribute 14 points and seven rebounds. The LOC bench played a key factor in the victory, outscoring the CSU reserves, 35-13.
 
CSU will return to action on Wednesday at Lincoln University (PA).
