Box Score Lady Marauders beat Fort Valley State, 3-0

The Central State Lady Marauders improved to 2-0 in SIAC play with a 3-0 win over Fort Valley State on Thursday afternoon.

Coming off an five set victory over Claflin earlier in the day, the Lady Marauders beat the Wildcats, 25-21, in the first set and won comfortably in the second and third set with scores of 25-15 and 25-17.

Freshman Michaela Powell led the CSU with 10 kills, 2 blocks, 2 aces and 9 digs. 

CSU continues play at the SIAC Volleyball Crossover on Friday morning against Albany State. This year's SIAC Crossover is hosted by Miles College. All matches are held at the Birmingham CrossPlex in Birmingham, Alabama.
