Director of Player Personnel – Football
Head Coach Tony Carter announced the addition of Owen Hoehn to the football staff as the Director of Player Personnel, bringing with him a sharp scouting eye and a fast-rising reputation in collegiate football operations.
A native of Dublin, Ohio, Hoehn began his career in player evaluation through the prestigious Scouting Academy and with Mike Farrell Sports, where he developed a strong foundation in talent identification and recruiting analytics. He then accepted a position as a recruiting assistant at Ohio Dominican University. While with the Panthers, Hoehn played a key role in assembling the top-ranked signing class in both program history and the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (GMAC) for the 2025 cycle.
As Director of Player Personnel, Hoehn is responsible for talent identification and evaluation, as well as the organization and execution of official and unofficial campus visits. Known for his work ethic, attention to detail, and football acumen, Hoehn is considered one of the youngest directors of player personnel in college football and continues to build a promising career in the recruiting landscape.
Currently a student at The Ohio State University, Hoehn’s passion for the game and advanced understanding of the recruiting process make him a valuable asset to the program's continued growth and success.
