Head Coach Tony Carter is proud to announce the addition of Damien Joseph to the Marauder Football staff as Director of Football Operations. A detail-oriented leader with a passion for student-athlete success, Joseph brings an organized, strategic approach to the daily functions that keep a football program running at a championship level.
As Director of Football Operations, Joseph oversees the day-to-day logistics of the program, serving as a vital link between players, coaches, and support staff. His responsibilities include scouting advancements, practice planning, roster management, and the coordination of prospect camps, and on-campus recruiting visits. He also plays a key role in the execution of official and unofficial visits, compliance documentation, and managing the program’s financial operations, ensuring efficiency and alignment with departmental goals.
A native of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, Joseph earned his Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Counseling and Applied Sciences from Arizona State University. His academic background gives him a unique ability to connect with student-athletes, providing insight into performance, motivation, and team dynamics. He also holds a certificate as a research assistant in evidence-based applied sport psychology from the American Board of Sport Psychology, further equipping him to foster a high-performance culture rooted in mental preparation and resilience.
Before joining Central State, Joseph gained experience supporting athletic programs through operations, leadership development, and athlete engagement initiatives. His versatility, professionalism, and analytical mindset make him a valuable asset in enhancing the Marauder Football experience from behind the scenes.
With a strong foundation in both sport psychology and football operations, Damien Joseph is poised to make a significant impact on the success and structure of the Marauder program—helping set the tone for excellence every step of the way.
