Earnest Tucker has served has CSU's defensive backs coach since September of 2021.
Tucker has been in coaching since 2006 on the high school level and was part of a Indiana State Championship winning program while serving on the coaching staff at Warren Central High School in 2018. Following the state title run at Warren Central, Tucker was selected to coach in the Adidas All Star Game in San Antonio Texas.
Born and Raised in Dayton Ohio, Coach Tucker attended  Wayne High School where he helped lead the school to its first appearance in the OHSAA Championship. Tucker went on to play at Lincoln University in Missouri, playing all four years on the team as a running back and kick returner.
