Safeties Okoye Bozeman and Dashad Tucker finished #3 & #4 in SIAC for passes defended

Safety KaJamus Sanders finished #2 in SIAC for forced fumbles

Prior to coming to Central State University, Coach Owens was employed by The American Legion, the world's largest veteran service organization serving as the Business Development Manager over fundraising.  Prior to working for The American Legion Coach Owens served in the US Army from 2003-2011 serving at multiple locations across the United States.
