Buddy Blevins has served as Central State University's offensive coordinator since February of 2022.
Blevins previously served as offensive coordinator at Western New Mexico University and Fort Valley State University. Blevins other collegiate coaching stops include Colorado-Mesa University, Northern Colorado University, Midwestern State University, Texas A&M Kingsville, Oklahoma Panhandle State University and Trinity International University. He has also coached in the Champions Indoor Football League (CIF).
Originally from Wildwood, Missouri, Blevins played receiver at Colorado-Mesa and graduated from CMU in 2011 with a degree in History.
He also played professionally in the Champions Indoor Football League (CIF), Indoor Football League, and the Arena Football League (AFL).
Coach Blevins grew up as a triplet. He has a brother, Woody, who also coaches college football serving as defensive coordinator at Assumption University and a sister, Cassie, who resides in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
In his spare time, he likes to read, hike, and enjoys doing a variety of different outdoor activities with his wife, Morgan.
