Antony Armstrong joined the Central State University coaching staff in the Spring of 2022 as the running backs coach and special teams coordinator.
He spent the 2021 season as the assistant head coach, offensive coordinator, and academic liason at Georgia Knights Prep Academy, where his team won the conference championship.
From 2017 to 2019, Armstrong coached at Fort Valley State University working with receivers, tight ends and running backs.Â
Coach Armstrong began his collegiate football career at Georgia Military College and ended his collegiate career at Point University. During his time at Point, he set multiple receiving and touchdown records as a tight end and wide receiver.Â
He earned his bachelor's degree in criminal justice from Point University in 2014 and his master's degree in public health from Fort Valley State University in 2019. Coach Armstrong is a native of Conyers, Georgia.
