FRANKFORT, Ky. — The Central State University volleyball team closed out its 2025 regular season in dominant fashion, sweeping rival Kentucky State University (25-15, 25-19, 25-20) on Thursday night inside Bell Gymnasium.
With the win, the Marauders improve to 16-10 overall and 13-7 in SIAC play, securing a five-match winning streak as they head into next week's SIAC Championships at Spring Hill College.
Dominant Team Performance
Central State put together one of its most complete matches of the season, posting a .211 team hitting percentage while holding Kentucky State to just .033. The Marauders recorded 34 kills, 31 assists, and seven service aces, matching the Thorobreds dig for dig with 53 apiece while controlling the net with six total blocks.

Maya Hendricks led the charge with a double-double, tallying 10 kills and 12 digs, along with two service aces and a block.

Zahra Coates added nine kills, eight digs, and three blocks, closing her regular-season career with another efficient performance.
