Marauders end regular season with win over Kentucky State


FRANKFORT, Kentucky - The Central State Marauders defeat Kentucky State in three sets to finish out the regular season.


CSU won with scores of 25-13, 25-10 and 25-20 to finish the regular season with a 16-14 overall record and 8-2 in the SIAC.


The CSU offense combined for 44 kills and 12 errors on 94 attacks for a hitting percentage of .344. KSU was limited to 17 kills and 17 errors on 77 attacks for a .000 hitting percentage.


Cameron Lee led CSU with a match-high 12 kills. Carlos Pinto filled the stat sheet with 21 assists , 10 digs, five kills and three aces.


CSU enters next week's SIAC Tournament as the second seed. This year's tournament games will be played on April 20 and 21 in Fort Valley, Georgia.
