Marauders defeat Thomas More for fourth straight victory
WILBERFORCE, Ohio - The Central State Marauders defeated Thomas More in three sets on Saturday for their fourth straight victory.
With the win, CSU climbs back to .500 for the year at 12-12 overall. Thomas More dropped to 11-9 on the year.
CSU won with scores of 25-15, 25-17 and 29-27.
The CSU offense. finished with a hitting percentage of .304 with 47 kills and 16 errors on 102 attacks. Thomas More recorded 26 kills and 13 errors on 74 attacks for a hitting percentage of .176.Â

Ljubisa Novakovic and Henrique Deoderlein Do Amaral led a balanced Marauder offense. Lee and Novakovic led all players with 11 kills each while Deoderlein Do Amaral had 10 kills. Setter
Marcus Franck, who played his first full match since returning from injury last month, finished with 34 assists along with six kills and seven digs.
Victor Scherer led all players with 10 digs and recorded his 500th dig of his collegiate career during the first set.
In addition to earning their fourth straight win, Saturday marked the first time CSU has won four consecutive contests in three sets.
The Marauders host Kentucky State next Saturday at 2 pm.
