Wilberforce, OH - Despite another stellar performance by
Willie Jackson, the Marauders fell just short of picking up a much needed win. Kent State Tuscarawas stretched the lead out to as much as 8 points in the second half only to see the Marauders battle back to shrink the lead all the way to two points with just 37 seconds remaining. The Marauders forced a miss on a jumper and came down with the rebound with 11 seconds remaining but were unable to get off a quality shot as a highly contested 3-pointer fell short. KSU-Tuscarawas shot over 50% from the 3-point stripe, hitting 12 of 23 which proved to be the difference.Â
Willie Jackson continued his high level play with a team leading 32 points while
Steven Key II and
Zavian Jackson each scored 18. The Marauders travel to Columbus to take on Ohio Dominican on December 13th.
