Central State falls to balanced Lane scoring attack
WILBERFORCE, Ohio - The Central State Marauders fell for the fourth straight game with a 82-75 loss to Lane on Monday night.
The loss drops CSU to 5-13 overall and 5-8 in the SIAC. LC improves to 8-10 on the season and 6-7 in the conference.
Four Lane players scored in double-figures and nine of the 10 players who logged minutes scored a basket. Radarious Washington led the Dragons with 19 points and eight rebounds. Kelvin Allen had 13 points. Justin Sylver recorded 12 points and 10 rebounds. Floyd Williams also scored 12 points in the win.
CSU was paced by 16 points by
Kevin Moore and
Marcus Scott V.
Raevon Thomas finished with 12 points and
Marcus Steele had 10 points.
CSU made 24 of 54 field goals (44.4%) while LC converted 33 of 64 shots (51.6%). CSU went 18 of 30 from the free throw line compared to LC's 9 for 12 performance.
CSU hosts LeMoyne-Owen on Wednesday at 7:30 pm.
