Marauders beat Morehouse and Fort Valley State in three sets over the weekend
WILBERFORCE, Ohio -Â The Central State Marauders did not lose a set over the weekend with conference wins over Morehouse and Fort Valley State.
CSU handled Morehouse on Friday with scores of 25-13, 25-8, and 25-15.
CSU combined for 46 kills on 87 attacks and a .345 hitting percentage.
Cameron Lee led all players with 10 kills.
Marcus Franck finished with seven kills along with 27 assists.
The Marauders maintained their momentum throughout Saturday afternoon's match against FVSU. CSU recorded wins of 25-17, 25-19 and 25-22.
Lee led CSU again with 11 kills and a .310 hitting percentage.
Yaron Afek finished with 10 kills. Franck distributed 23 assists along with six kills.
Victor Scherer led all players with nine digs.
With the wins over MHC and FVSU, CSU is now 10-13 overall with a 8-1 record in the SIAC.
CSU plays the final match of the regular season at home on Friday against rival Kentucky State.
