Marauders fall to balanced scoring attack of Tuskegee
TUSKEGEE, Alabama - The Central State Marauders dropped their fifth straight game in a 74-67 loss to Tuskegee on Monday night.
All five TU starters scored in double-figures on Monday led by Deveraux Davis' 17 points and nine rebounds. Deshawn Millington scored 15 points while Devin Booker and Steve Sully each had 14 points. Montez Jones rounded out the TU starting lineup with 12 points and nine rebounds. The TU starting lineup combined to score all but two of the Tigers points on Monday.
Freshman guard Macus Steele led CSU's efforts with 15 points.
Kameron Ivory finished with 14 points and six rebounds.
Willie Jackson added 13 points.
TU was effective down low, totalling 68 points in the paint compared to CSU's 12.
CSU dropped to 6-14 on the season and 3-11 in SIAC play. TU improves to 13-9 on the year with a 9-4 mark in the conference.
CSU travels to play at Kentucky State on Saturday.
