Marcus Scott selected to All-SIAC Preseason Team
 

WILBERFORCE, Ohio - Central State University guard Marcus Scott V has been selected to the All-SIAC Preseason Team.


Scott V averaged 13.1 points per game, 2.6 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 0.9 steals last year while playing for the Tigers of Savannah State. Scott V led the Tigers to an SIAC Tournament title while earning SIAC Tournament MVP honors. During the Tigers run to the title, Scott V averaged 18.5 points while shooting 65% from the field.


 After graduating early from Savannah State as a sophomore, Scott V transferred to play for CSU head coach Antonio O. Davis and the Marauders this upcoming fall as he enters the University's new Master's in Business Administration program.



Scott V and the Marauders open the season on the road at reigning Gulf South Conference Champion West Alabama on Friday at 5 pm.
