WILBERFORCE, Ohio – The Central State Lady Marauders beat Lane College, 63-53, on Monday night.
 
 
With the win, CSU improves to 6-10 overall with a 4-4 ledger in the SIAC. LC drops to 4-11 on the year with a 3-5 mark in SIAC play.



Trailing by 11 after 30 minutes, CSU exploded for 29 points in the fourth quarter, outscoring LC by 22 in the final 10 minutes of play on their way to the win.
 
 
Kenedi London opened the fourth with a good mid-range jumper to spark CSU's 15-0 run. Up 49-45 and with all the momentum, Gilbert scored CSU's next 12 points and then found an open Cameryn DuBose for the easy basket to put her team up by 11 with 58 seconds left.
 
 
CSU made 23 of 56 shot attempts (41.1%) and were 13 of 15 from the free throw line (86.7%).
 
 
Gilbert finished with a game-high 19 points, with 16 coming in the final 10 minutes of play. London added 12 off the bench while DuBose recorded 13 rebounds along with nine points and four blocks.
 
 
Ra'Keta Shelton led Lane with 14 points and nine rebounds.
