Lady Marauders struggle from the line in loss to Lynn Â
Â
BOCA RATON, Florida – The Central State Lady Marauders struggled from the free throw line and faded away late in Friday's 80-71 loss to Lynn.
Â
Â
CSU had four players score in double-figures but converted just four of sixteen free throw attempts.
Â
Â
Trailing for the majority of the second half, CSU pulled with five, 76-71, after a
Sandra Guilford basket with 46 seconds left but four straight missed free throws and a missed layup hindered any chance of a comeback.
Â
Â
Takyra Gilbert led CSU with 16 points. Guilford finished with 15 points.
Brooke Spaulding and
Bri'elle Johnson recorded 12 points each.
Â
CSU will play Palm Beach Atlanta on Saturday at 10 am.
