Box Score Lady Marauders open up SIAC pay with a 3-2 win over Claflin University
In Thursday's opening match of the SIACÂ Volleyball Crossover, Central State battled back from a 2-1 deficit to beat Clafin University, 3-2.
After losing the third set, 25-23, CSU stormed back with a nail-biting 26-24 win in the fourth set and a 17-15 win in the deciding set for their first win of the season.
Later in the day, the Lady Marauders followed their emotional win with an impressive 3-0 win over Fort Valley State. Off to a 2-0 start in SIACÂ play, CSU will continue conference play in Birmingham, Alabama on Friday morning against Albany State.
