Central State basketball hosts Tuskegee during Greene County Community Night
Â
WILBERFORCE, Ohio â The Central State men's and women's basketball programs invite the entire Greene County Community to come enjoy a great night of collegiate basketball when the Marauders host Tuskegee University while celebrating
Greene County Community Night on Monday.Â
City of Xenia Manager Brent Merriman will serve as the honorary coach during the men's game. Central State will offer $1 discount tickets to all Greene County employees when they present a valid employee ID at the CSUÂ ticket booth.
The Lady Marauders are currently on a seven game winning streak and hope to continue their success against the Tigers.
"We have been playing very well over the past few weeks and it will be great to perform in front of our friends in the local community," Head Coach
Sheba Harris says. "The community continues to support us and we hope to deliver a win for all those who come out to watch us compete."
The Marauder men are hoping a win against Tuskegee can be the start to a positive run for a team that has been depleted by injuries thus far.
"It should be a great game and we are looking forward to having the support of the entire community as we take on a very talented team in Tuskegee," said Central State Head Coach
Joseph Price. "Our fans and the support of our community are key in our success in defending our home floor."
The women tip-off the action at 5:30 pm followed by the men's game at 7:30 pm.
