TORONTO – After a tremendous career as a member of the Central State football team, graduate Gervell Morgan will once again take the field – this time as a member of Team America at the Globe Bowl this Saturday in Toronto.

In two seasons at CSU, The 6-0, 255 pound linebacker totaled 149 tackles, including 81 solo tackles. He was a key contributor in a defense that ranked among the top of the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference in sacks, takeaways, tackles for loss and run defense.

With a chance to make an impression on pro scouts this weekend, Morgan discussed his mindset going into the game.

"I have been preparing mentally and physically to dominate my competition, a few personal goal," Morgan said in a recent phone interview. "My mindset has been nothing but business. I try and remain focused on what I'm out here for and that's to play ball and hopefully catch the eyes of some scouts. I'll be representing Central State in this matchup and I look forward to showcasing my talent."

Gervell will be part of a Team America squad featuring many former professionals and NCAA Div. I players.
