Justin Woods-West and running back Jihad Rasheed to represent Central State in Dream Bowl IV
 
VIRGINIA BEACH, Virginia – Central State defensive end Justin Woods-West and running back Jihad Rasheed will suit up to play on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day in this year's Dream Bowl IV held in Virginia Beach, VA.

The Dream Bowl is a college football all-star showcase of the best FCS, D-II and D-III players from across the country.

Woods-West and Rasheed, both graduating seniors from Detroit, MI, put together impressive seasons in their final year wearing the gold and maroon.

Woods-West set a school record for most sacks in a season (13.5) since CSU achieved NCAA Div. II status in 2005. He finished as the SIAC leader in sacks and tackles for loss (22). Woods-West collected numerous postseason honors including selections to the AFCA All-America Team, HEROSports.com All-America Team, Box-to-Row All-America Team, D2CCA Super Region Team and SIAC 1^st Team.

Transferring to CSU for his senior season, Rasheed quickly solidified himself as the team's feature back. Rasheed ran for a team best 559 yards with an impressive 4.2 yards per carry. He capped off his senior season with his best game, going for 121 yards and 3 scores.

Woods-West and Rasheed helped CSU to a 5-5 record this past season – the best mark since the program was reintroduced as a NCAA Div. II member in 2005.
