CSU football to host Fan Appreciation Day on August 22nd

WILBERFORCE, Ohio - The Central State football team will hold Fan Appreciation Day on Saturday, Aug. 22 at 1:30 pm at McPherson Memorial Stadium. Admission is free to the public with the gates opening at 1:00 p.m.

Marauder fans will be able to view the 2015 team as CSU competes against each other in an inter-squad scrimmage. The CSU Athletic Department will supply 2015 football schedules as well as facilitate contests and giveaways throughout the afternoon. One lucky fan will receive two free tickets to the Circle City Classic at Lucas Oil Stadium against Kentucky State. Fans are also encouraged to stop by the CSU Sports Information table for details on tickets and upcoming events throughout the 2015-16 school year.

Throughout the event, fans who are followers of the CSU athletics' twitter, facebook and instagram accounts will be randomly selected for prizes. Fans must follow CSU on its new social media pages to be eligible to win.

In addition, the CSU coaching staff will be hosting the Football 101 Women's Clinic beginning at 9:30 am. The clinic is free and is designed to teach fans the basics of football and encourage female participation during this year's Marauder football season.
