The Voice of the Marauders is now in his fifth season as the Marauder Game Day Announcer at Central State University, Justyn R. Fry brings passion, energy, and an unmistakable presence to every game. A Detroit, Michigan native and proud Central State University alum, Mr. Fry holds a degree in English and has built a dynamic career that spans the arts, ministry, and higher education.
A professionally trained vocalist and musician, he has traveled the world sharing his gift of song. Off the mic, he serves as the Director of University Housing and Student Conduct at Central State University, shaping the student experience with the same enthusiasm he brings to the game. An ordained minister and sought-after Master of Ceremonies, he has hosted countless events for organizations, churches, and institutions.
What started as a simple opportunity to "try it out" has turned into a rewarding and exhilarating experience for Mr. Fry. His voice has become an integral part of the Marauder game-day atmosphere, amplifying the spirit, pride, and excitement of every matchup. Whether he’s calling the plays or firing up the crowd, his goal remains the same—to keep the energy high and help fans root, root for the home team, the Central State Marauders!
