Meshawn Graham

Meshawn Graham enters her first season as an assistant coach of the CSU track & field team.

Graham will specialize in developing sprinters and jumpers this season. She comes to CSU after an impressive resume which includes 4 OHSAA State Championships, Big 12 All-Conference honors and victories in various competitions throughout the United State.

Growing up in Toledo, OH, Graham attended Bowsher High School. While at Bowhser, Graham solidified herself as the top ranked recruit in the 400m dash. In her four years of high school competition, Graham won state titles in the 100m dash, 200m dash, 400m dash and 4x200m relay. 

Following high school, Graham accepted a full scholarship to compete at Michigan University. After posting season best times of 57.0 seconds in the 400m and 40.6 seconds in the 300m as a freshman, Graham transfered to Texas Tech.

While at Texas Tech, Graham made the Big 12 All-Conference Team in 2011 & 2012 thanks to times of 55.62 seconds and 56.6 seconds in the 400m at the Big 12 Championships. 

Graham took a hiatus from the sport after her junior year until enrolling at Tiffin University in 2014 to complete her education. While at Tiffin, Graham earned a degree in Public Relations & Communications. She also began her coaching career as an assistant at Waite High School. Graham played a key role in recruiting the largest number of participants for Waite track & field in over two decades.Â
