Central State's Kailyn Nash selected to All-SIAC First Team
SAVANNAH, Georgia - Central State University's
Kailyn Nash has been named to the 2023 SIAC Women's Basketball All-Conference First Team.
Nash, a sophomore from Muskegon, Michigan, finished the regular season as the SIAC's leading scorer with 16.4 points per contest. Nash also led the conference in blocked shots with an average of 2.6 and ranked sixth in rebounding with 8.2.
The 6-0 forward has recorded nine games of 20 or more points along with eight double-doubles. She finished the regular season with 18 multi-block games.
Nash and the Lady Marauders enter the SIAC Tournament as the No. 5 seed in the west and will begin play on Monday against Allen at 5 pm in Savannah, Georgia.
