Marauders score 21 top ten finishes at Tiger Opener

Springfield, OH- Central State Track and Field teams opened up the indoor season at Wittenberg University for the Tiger Opener. The men and women were able to compile 21 top 10 finishes throughout the day.
Amarianna Lofton highlighted the day with two wins in the high jump, with a leap of 1.66m, and a win in the 60m hurdles with a time of 8.84. Where she met the NCAA Division 2 qualifying standard for the 60-meter hurdles.
CSU will look to continue the strong start to the season as they travel to Tiffin this Friday, December 8th, 2023. Where they will have the opportunity to have more personal and seasonal bests. And their statement at the Tiger Opener has an optimistic outlook on how the rest of the season will transpire.
