Abbigail Peterson scored 22 points to lead the Central State Lady Marauders to a 96-53 win over the Wilberforce Lady Bulldogs Wednesday night at a sold out standing room only Beacom-Lewis gym.  Peterson, Deshanti Miller, Samara Savory  and Jacquel Bronaugh were all in double figures. Miller had 18 , Bronaugh had 15 and Savory had 10.
The Lady Marauders jumped our quickly when Peterson hit 2 three pointers to give the Lady Marauders a 6-0 lead and they never looked back.  Leading by 10 at the half 27-17, the Lady Marauders broke the game open in the second half scoring 33 points in the third quarter and 36 in the fourth.
Peterson scored 13 of her 22 points in the third quarter, while Savory scored all of her points in the second half, Miller had 11 of her 17 points in the second half and Bronaugh also had 11 of her 15 points in the second half.  The Marauders will take on the 3rd ranked team in the nation Grand Valley State, Saturday at 3 pm at Beacom-Lewis Gym.
