Lightbourn leads CSU at Mount Vernon Nazarene Invite
MT. VERNON, Ohio - The Central State University track and field team competed at the Mount Vernon Nazarene University Chip Wilson Invite this past weekend.
In the fourth meet of the season, CSU junior
Tyler Lightbourn placed first or second in three events to lead her team in points. Lightbourn won the 200 meter dash in 26.76 and came in second place in the 60 meter dash (7.99). In the women's high jump, Lightbourn finished second with a mark of 1.55m (5;1) while teammate
Reaghan Wakefield recorded her third win in the event with a jump of 2.6m (5'3).
The CSU women's team also took five of the top six spots in the 400 meter race.
Kapri Dawkins finished first in 1:01.83.
Kaylah Huston came in second (1:02.33) followed by
Jaylin Bradshaw (1:07.72) and Ajanae Cressey (1:04.05).
Renee Bruce finished in sixth (1:05.15). The women's team of Bradshaw, Huston, Dawkins and
Kaylee Lair won the 4 x 400 meter relay with a pace of 4:15.41.

Jaheim Wilson highlighted the CSU men with a win in the 60 meter hurdles (8.31). CSU also took second place (
Demari Johnson - 23.25), third place (
Isreal Williamson - 23.53), fourth place (
Juwan Rigby - 23.65)Â and fifth place (
Hezekiah Reid - 23.95) in the 200 meter dash.

Joshua Divers - 600m - 3rd Place - 1:32.84
CSU will be in action on Friday and Saturday at the Youngstown State University Invite in Youngstown, Ohio.
