Lady Marauders face Claflin in SIAC semifinals on Friday 

BIRMINGHAM, Alabama - The Central State Lady Marauders will face the Panthers of Claflin University in Friday's SIAC Tournament semifinals. 

No. 1 seed in the SIAC West Division, the Lady Marauders advanced to the semifinals for the second straight season after disposing of LeMoyne-Owen College, 75-54, on Wednesday. CSU had four players score in double-figures led by SIAC All-Conference guard Ghameerah McCullers' 16 points. With the win, CSU improved to 19-7 overall.

Claflin, the No. 2 seed in the SIAC East Division, handled Clark Atlanta University, 70-55, in Thursday's quarterfinal round. Carnique Marks led the Panthers to victory with 13 points, 10 rebounds and 4 blocks as her team improved to 15-11 overall.

The teams are set to tip off at 5:30 pm cst (6:30 pm est). The winner will face either Benedict College or Fort Valley State University in the finals on Saturday.

All tournament games are held in the Bill Harris Arena at the Birmingham CrossPlex.
