Lady Marauders face Claflin in SIAC semifinals on FridayÂ

BIRMINGHAM, Alabama - The Central State Lady Marauders will face the Panthers of Claflin University in Friday's SIAC Tournament semifinals.Â
No. 1 seed in the SIAC West Division, the Lady Marauders advanced to the semifinals for the second straight season after disposing of LeMoyne-Owen College, 75-54, on Wednesday. CSU had four players score in double-figures led by SIAC All-Conference guard
Ghameerah McCullers' 16 points. With the win, CSU improved to 19-7 overall.
Claflin, the No. 2 seed in the SIAC East Division, handled Clark Atlanta University, 70-55, in Thursday's quarterfinal round. Carnique Marks led the Panthers to victory with 13 points, 10 rebounds and 4 blocks as her team improved to 15-11 overall.
The teams are set to tip off at 5:30 pm cst (6:30 pm est). The winner will face either Benedict College or Fort Valley State University in the finals on Saturday.
