Cedarville, OH -  The Central State women's basketball team fell 89-62 to Cedarville for the second time this season.

Dropping their last two contests, CSU is now 6-13 overall and 3-6 in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference. Extending its winning streak to nine games, Cedarville continues to set the pace in the G-MAC with a perfect 9-0 record and stand 19-2 overall.

The Lady Marauders kept up with Cedarville for most of the first half. Forward Amanda Pierce put CSU up 30-27 at the 8:50 mark. Cedarville would respond with a 7-0 run to take a 25-20 lead with 6:30 left in the half. The Yellow Jackets never trailed from that point on. Taking a 37-30 lead into halftime, Cedarville opened the second with a 17-2 run to take control of the game. A good three pointer from CU leading scorer Reagan Ryan with 6:41 left gave the Yellow Jackets their largest lead of the night, 77-47. CSU was unable to find any momentum as Cedarville cruised to the 27 point win.

Regan led Cedarville with a game-high 24 points on 9 of 15 shooting. She also tacked on 8 assists. Kaysie Brittenham added 18 points and 6 rebounds. As a team, Cedarville converted 46 percent of their field goals compared to CSU's 34% performance. CU also claimed a 44-16 advantage in points scored in the paint.

Jordyn Bond came off the bench to lead all CSU scorers with 12 points. Senior guard Veronne Clark scored 10 points. No other CSU played eclipsed double-figures. Iniquia Snell, the team's leading scorer, was held to just 7 points on 3 of 9 shooting.

Central State returns home on Thursday to face conference opponent Davis & Elkins (10-8; 6-4) at 5:30 pm.
