The Cedarville fans did not see this coming. The Marauders sure put a end to their winning streak considering that the Lady Jackets won nine games straight.
 
From the tip off, Central State was in control and was in the lead for the rest of the game. Going in to the half, the Marauders were up fourteen points, the score was 42-33.
 
In the second half, the Lady Marauders scored the first eight points and kept the lead at 57-38 with thirteen minutes left on the clock. As the Yellow Jackets continued to fight back, they were able to quickly cut the lead down to five points with the score now sitting at 64-59.
 
For the last four minutes of the game, CSU played strong defense and even stronger offense. They scored seven back to back baskets that pushed the score difference up to twelve points. Cedarville was never able to recover and that allowed CSU to end the game with the victory.
 
Guard Demetria Nunley-Lash finished with a double-double of thirteen rebounds and fifteen points for the Lady Marauders. Being 6-16 overall and 2-12 in the G-Mac, Veronne Clark totaled sixteen points, Regina Allen with thirteen points and Amanda Pierce chipping in eleven points.
 
Cedarville is now 15-9 overall and 11-3 in the G-Mac.
