Balanced Lake Erie offense tops Lady Marauders, 92-62

Box Score Lake Erie, OH - Playing in the final game of the GLIAC vs. G-MAC Challenge, the Central State women's basketball team lost 92-62 to tournament host Lake Erie College on Sunday.

Lake Erie's success came from a balanced scoring attack as Kayla Gabor, Chloe Irish and Kaeding Skelton each finiished with 15 points each to lead all scorers. Skelton also added 8 rebounds and 4 steals as the Storm improved to 2-0 on the season.

Aneisha Smith was a bright spot for the Marauders, coming off the bench to record 12 points, 6 rebounds and 2 steals. Forwards Jasmine Cooper and Akwar Obong each finished with 10 points, but CSU was unable to overcome its 46 committed 46 turnovers.

Falling to 0-2 overall, the Marauders will attempt to earn their first win in Thursday's home opener against Indiana University - Kokomo at 7 pm.
