Lady Marauders fall in first game of GLIAC vs. G-MAC Challenge

Lake Erie, OH - The Lady Marauders suffered a 85-62 loss to Walsh University in the opening game of the season.
Walsh got out to an early lead and maintained a 48-26 lead going into halftime. The Cavaliers shot 44% compared to CSU's 26% conversion rate in the 1st stanza.
Despite a game-high 23 points from senior guard Iniquia Snell, the Marauders were unable to cut into the Cavalier lead as Walsh cruised to the 23 point victory.
Cavalier guard Kelsey Funderburgh finished with 22 points as Walsh improved to 1-0 on the year.
The women will play their second game of the GLIAC vs. G-MAC Challenge on Sunday against tournament host Lake Erie College at 3:30 pm.
