A four-year starter at Quarterback for Central Sate University Marauders, Henderson Mosley led the Marauders to NAIA Division I National Championships in 1990 and 1992. A two-time All America selection in football, Mosley led the Marauders to the NAIA National Championship playoffs each year.
A talented all-around athlete, Mosley participated and earned letters for two years in basketball and one in baseball. In 1992, Mosley left Central State to pursue a career in professional baseball. He returned to the Marauders as Assistant Coach when the University re-instated the football program after a nine-year hiatus. Serving as Offensive Coordinator under Head Coaches Theo Lemon and Al West, Mosley was an inspirational leader and was named Assistant Coach of the Year in 2007 by the Great Lakes Football Conference.
While serving as Assistant Coach, Mosley was challenged by President John W. Garland to finish his degree and in 2008 he received his diploma, walking across the stage in the same class with many of the young men he had coached. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Health, Physical Education and Recreation and is a teacher and football coach at the David Ponitz Career Technical Center of the Dayton Public Schools.
