She went on to become a seven time NAIA All American (1995 Indoors, 1995 Outdoors, 1996 Indoors, 1996 Outdoors, 2000 Indoors, 2000 Outdoors and 2001 Outdoors). In 2000, she received the CSU Female Athlete of the Year Award.

After her track career at Central State was exhausted she began coaching volleyball at her college alma mater. She later returned to her high school alma mater where she remains to this day. She is the College & Career Advisor at Allen High School and track and field coach.

Never getting to far away from sports and to maintain her interest in youth and sports, she attended both The United States Sports Academy and the USATF Coaching Certification Program.
